Borith Lake

Sanctuary for Migratory Birds

At an altitude of 2600m, Borith is a rather warm water lake, perched on a cliff above town of Passu, is just a jeep ride of about 15 mins on a narrow track from KKH. It offers unhindered view of north face of Ultar Sar and Passu Cones. An hour hike from here will bring you to frosty-creviced Passu glacier.   Its also a base station for trekking to Patundas or round trek to Batura Base Camp. Its a perfect hideaway to be submerged in the beauty of Gojal. There are few pedal boats and driving one of them is a must as you glimpse on the towering mountains around you.
