Hopar

Gateway to Rush Lake & Spantic

Hoper is the last village of Nagar and base station for many Karakoram Treks like Rush Lake, Spantic or Golden Peak Base Camp. Lying at an altitude of 2900m alongside Bualtar Glacier, Hopar is ideal for a day trip from Hunza to get a basic taste of hiking onto Bualtar glacier & witness the sunset on the entire Ultar Sar wall. In summer season one can taste the best apricots here. In spring & autumn season, Hopar is worth paying a short visit due to enormous variety of colours in fruit trees.
