Muzzaffarabad is the capital and largest city of Azad Kashmir, with an elevation of 747m its just a journey of 4 hours from Islamabad. Its at the confluence of Neelum and Jehlum river. Many hotels and riverside restaurants adds up to the appeal of city with Pearl Continental being the best, perfectly nestled on a hilltop above the city. Peer Chanasi is the highest point of city, which is an hour drive through many hairpin steep turns, an ideal site to enjoy snowfall in winters.
