Saiful ul Malook

The Famous Lake

At an altitude of 3200m, Saiful Malook is prolly the most famous lake of Northern Pakistan. Thousands of local Pakistani tourists flock to visit this greenish-blue gem with a backdrop of Malika Parbat. Boating, horse riding and snacking on Pakoras are the usual tourist attractions. A walk around the lake is recommended to witness its true beauty by being away from the crowds. Early morning visits are idea to avoid congestion on Naran-Saiful Malook road; that is almost a journey of an hour. Local guides or horses can be hired from here for three to four hour trek to famous Ansoo lake.
