The big day. Drive north from Naran through wild Kunhar Valley, stopping at the turquoise Lulusar Lake before pushing up to Babusar Top (4,173m) — the pass between Kaghan and Chilas. On clear days the views of Nanga Parbat and the surrounding peaks are extraordinary. Descend to Batakundi for lunch, then return to Naran for a warm dinner.
